Official Images Of Xiaomi Mi CC9 & Mi CC9e (Mi A3 in India) Out; Realme X Variants Are Onion, Garlic!

The much-hyped Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e are finally launching today under Mi brand. The smartphones will run on Android One program, confirming the availability of the same smartphones in other markets as Mi A3 series including India.

The company only offers a single smartphone series under Android One, the Mi A series.

While it didn’t launch the Mi X smartphones this year, the original Mi A smartphone flip-offs, the company will launch the upcoming  Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e as Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite. The availability of Android One strongly supports the rumour.

Though, the contents is yet to confirm the upcoming Mi A3, we can safely assume the rumour of Mi CC series being the original Mi A3 smartphones.

Mi CC Series As Mi A3 Series In India: Mi A3 India Launch Next?

Xiaomi will launch a total of three smartphones under the CC series: Mi CC9, Mi CC9e and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. The Mi CC9 series smartphones will come under the parent brand and most interestingly it will run on Android One program.

All the three Mi CC smartphones will don a gradient finish design, glass sandwich body, water drop notched display, triple rear camera system, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Coming to core features, Mi CC series devices will have a 3D Glass body and seventh generation in-display fingerprint sensor.

The new Xiaomi Mi CC series will target the selfie-centric market primarily. In India it already has a similar Y series focusing on the selfie-lovers. So in India and some of the other global markets, Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e will get a makeover as Mi A3 smartphones. Coming to Mi A3 India launch, Mi CC9 will come as the original Mi A3 and Mi CC9e as Mi A3 Lite.

Mi A3 Specs & Features: Same As Mi CC9?

If Xiaomi plans to launch Mi CC9 as Mi A3, it will come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor coupled with 6GB or 8GB and 128GB or 256GB internal storage. It will come with a three camera system featuring a 48MP main sensor, 16MP secondary sensor and a third 12MP sensor.

Up front, Mi A3 or Mi CC9 will have a 32MP selfie shooter.

In terms of pricing, Xiaomi Mi CC9 will start at around 26,000 rupees (converted). In India, Mi A3 will be priced lower, probably around the 20,000-margin.

Coming to the toned down Mi A3 Lite, the Mi CC9e have a 5.97-inch Full HD+ or AMOLED display running on Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 665 processor The phone is expected to come paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Mi A3 Lite or Mi CC9e will have a three camera system at the back featuring a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor, secondary 8MP sensor and a third 5MP sensor.

Up front, Mi A3 Lite will include the same 32MP selfie shooter. Mi CC9e will start at around 16,000 rupees (converted).

Realme CEO Madhav Sheth recently confirmed a new variant of the upcoming Realme X, a special ‘Onion’ and ‘Garlic’ colour variant. Realme X will also launch in a special edition based on Spider-Man: Far From Home, which hit the theatres on July 4.

The smartphone will launch on July 15 in India, including another surprise device.

The company is also working on a 64MP smartphone now, which dons a four-camera setup. The company also compared the samples with a 48MP camera smartphone to compare the important details. The company is yet to confirm the 64MP smartphone launch date, but will happen sooner than expected (as per rumors).
