Now, a new leak has emerged, which reveals the name of this smartphone.
Redmi K20 Pro will be the smartphone, which we assumed as Redmi X.

Redmi K20 Pro: Redmi’s 1st Flagship With Snapdragon 855?
A new leak has emerged, which shows the protective film which covers new smartphones.
Three such protective films have emerged, showcasing three new models under K-series, which is itself a new series from Redmi.
As per the specification, it matches the Redmi X smartphone which we have talked about in the past, and it confirms that this model will have Snapdragon 855 smartphone.
Besides this, the other models which are visible here are: Redmi P20 Pro, Redmi X20 Pro and Redmi K20 Pro.
What Other Information Does This Leak Reveal?
As per the images of the protective film revealed, Redmi K20 Pro will have a triple camera setup in the back with 48 MP main camera, and a 20 MP AI Selfie camera in the front.
Snapdragon 855 processor is also confirmed.
A new generation of fingerprint sensor has been mentioned, which will be in-display, and an AMOLED screen of 6.39-inches dimensions has been confirmed.
4000 mAh battery,with 27 Watt fast charging support is also mentioned in Chinese.
The other smartphones too have more or less same configuration, with minor alterations.
Why This Can Be Redmi’s First SD 855 Flagship?
Yes, the leaks are unconfirmed, and we may have to take it with a pinch of salt.
But, based on the previous leaks and rumors, this newest leak confirms our apprehensions and our doubts.
Snapdragon 855 is the main USP, which this leak clearly showcases.
Besides, Redmi general manager, Lu Weibing has also confirmed that a new Snapdragon 855 flagship is coming, but has denied that its name will be Redmi X.
And, he has also claimed that the price would be very competitive, something which will beat the other brands with more expensive price tags.
These facts, and the rumors pin-point to the fact that these leaked images can be actually Redmi’s first SD 855 flagship.
