Good news for all Jio users: Free 10 GB of high-speed 4G data is up for grabs.

In the latest move to surprise their loyal users, Reliance Jio is now giving free 10 GB of data, under their new ‘Celebration Pack’.

Jio hasn’t revealed why this bonus is being provided to their users, but yes, it will make you happy, no doubt.

Before we share how to check whether you have received this surprise bonus of free 10 GB data or not, few pointers:

This special celebration pack of 10 GB high-speed 4G data is only Jio Prime users of Jio
In order to receive this special promotional plan of 10GB, you will need to have an active account, with an active data plan
Total of 10 GB free 4G data will be distributed across 5 days. Hence, the lucky user will get 2 GB free data for 5 days, which makes it total of 10 GB data.
Not everyone is guaranteed to receive this special 10 GB free data
This special bonus data of 10 GB can be only used, once the user has exhausted the daily limit of data. Hence, say you have 1.5 GB per day plan. In case you have consumed the full data for the day, you can use the 2GB daily free data.
There is no data rollover facility for this special pack.

To find out whether you have received this special pack of 10 GB free data or not, follow these steps:

Open My Jio App

Tap the ‘Menu’ option (three horizontal lines, in the top left corner)

In the drop-down menu, tap on ‘My Plans’

Under the description of your primary plan, you can find ‘Celebration Pack’ of 2 GB data per day for 5 days

If you are not able to find this special celebration pack in your account, then again check tomorrow, because the roll out is happening in a phased manner, and not every Prime user will be able to receive that at the same time.

Last year, in the month of September, Jio had rolled out free data for some users, which was again rolled out in a phased manner.

Besides, Jio Phone users have received free data for 6 months, which was announced earlier this month. This was mainly rolled out to new and existing JioPhone users.
