RIP Reservation Charts?
As per latest reports coming in, Indian Railways is now all set to abolish the age-old practice of pasting reservation charts on train coaches.
We had reported on this new paperless initiative in the month of February.
Indian Railways will now use digital boards across all platforms to showcase the details, instead of pasting reservation charts.
The logic presented by Indian Railways is that majority of passengers have booked their tickets via IRCTCÂ website/app (65%), hence they already have the details of their berths. Besides, passengers also receive the details on their mobiles via SMS.
We will keep you updated, as we receive more information.
Don’t know why Mobikwik mentioned in this blog. It would be waste of time write about Mobikwik. Instead of wasting that space it’s better you could have mention other good offers like phonepe.
