Redmi 6 Plus Leaked; Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL Front Panels Appear Online!

Xiaomi is all set to launch its 8th Anniversary flagship, the Mi 8, on May 31 along with the Mi Band 3. Recently, the Redmi 6 was leaked, and two other Redmi 6 models were also spotted in the same listing. Xiaomi has already launched Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro in India this year. The company is also launching a successor to Redmi Y1 on June 7.

After Redmi 6, now the Redmi 6 Plus has surfaced online with an iPhone X like notch at the top of the display. The upcoming Redmi 6 series will have Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and the recently-leaked Redmi 6 Plus. The newly leaked model will come either with a ‘Plus’ or ‘Pro’ title with mid-range features and specifications.

Redmi 6 Plus – Leaked Details

A new Xiaomi handset with model number M1805D1SE has been spotted on TENAA which is dubbed to be the Redmi 6 Plus or Redmi 6 Pro.

Design

The Redmi 6 Plus or Redmi 6 Pro will have a slightly bigger build compared to Redmi 6 like it was between Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. The upcoming Redmi smartphone will come with dual cameras at the back stacked vertically.

Display

The listing reveals that the handset will come with a 5.84-inch Full HD+ display in an elongated 19:9 screen aspect ratio. The smartphone will have a notch at the top of the display like the Mi 8.

Hardware

Redmi 6 Plus or Redmi 6 Pro will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz which is expected to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.

Storage

The upcoming Redmi 6 Plus or Redmi 6 Pro will come in three storage variants;

1. 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage
2. 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage
3. 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage

The memory can be further expanded via an external microSD card.

Camera

The smartphone will come with a rear dual camera setup consisting of a 12-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor.

Software

The TENAA listing has also revealed shows that the Redmi 6 Plus will run the latest Android 8.1 Oreo with an MIUI 10 expected on top, which will be unveiled on May 31.

Battery

As per the listing, Redmi 6 Plus will come with a massive 4000mAh battery and will weigh around 178 grams.

Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL Front Panels Surface Online

The upcoming designs of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have been leaked online, which hint at a notch in the display along with front-facing stereo speakers. The leaked display panels of Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL shows that the XL model will come with a notch and the smaller model have an 18:9 widescreen display.

The leaked images also suggest front-facing stereo speakers with a slit on the bottom bezel. While the second generation Pixel 2 came with a traditional 16:9 display, the Pixel 2 XL sported an 18:9 display.

The next generation Pixel 3 smartphones will see a push in terms of screen space, where Pixel 3 will come with an 18:9 widescreen display and Pixel 3 XL will come with a notch on top turning it into a 19:9 elongated display.

The upcoming Pixel flagships are expected to come with Snapdragon 845 chipset and Android P on board. The smartphones will launch in October this year.
