BSNL Launches New Unlimited Calling Plans; Vodafone Brings 3GB Data Packs!
The company is now looking to strike back with better calling plans than the other operators.
The data-war in the telecom industry is getting fierce with incumbents offering high-speed data at as low as Rs 3.5 per GB. The state-run BSNLÂ already seems to be out of the data game due to its unavailability of 4G. But it is not out. The company is now looking to strike back with better calling plans than the other operators.
After a long wait, the public telecom company will soon be launching its maiden 4G services in the country very soon. Whereas other top operators in the country are offering bundled tariff plans with data, free calls and SMS, BSNL has now launched two new plans which come with unlimited voice calls.
The two new unlimited voice calling plans from BSNL come at Rs 99 and Rs 319.

BSNL’s Unlimited Voice Calling Plans – Rs 99 & Rs 319
These plans are voice-only prepaid plans which offer unlimited voice calls with no usage limit. The plans will come with no restrictions in the user’s home circle as well as in national roaming, except Mumbai and Delhi.
Both the voice plans from BSNL offer similar benefits but come with different validity periods. The Rs 319 plan comes with a 90 day validity without any FUP, while the other Rs 99 voice plan comes with a validity of 26 days. Both the BSNL voice calling plans are valid across India.
The subscribers will also get a free caller tune service with the Rs 99 plan.

Vodafone’s New Data Plans: 3GB Per Day For 84 Days
With a price war going on between Jio and Airtel, India’s other large incumbent isn’t taking the game easy. Like Jio and Airtel, Vodafone has been steadily bringing new plans at competitive prices. The two new plans come with a daily data usage limit up to 3GB and have a validity of 84 days.
The new recharge plans from Vodafone will cost Rs 511 and Rs 569 respectively.
Vodafone Rs 511 Plan
The Rs 511 Vodafone prepaid plan will come with unlimited voice calls on local, STD and outgoing and incoming on national roaming. The plan will offer 2GB of high-speed 3G/4G data per day with 100 SMS per day.
The Rs 511 plan will offer 168GB total data for the period of 84 days with a daily usage limit of 2GB.
