HMD Global unveiled its budget Android Go smartphone Nokia 1 at the MWC 2018 with some neat features and the latest Android Oreo Go Edition on board. Nokia 1 landed in India early this week, and has been priced at Rs. 5,499/-. The smartphone will go up against some of the best-selling budget smartphones in the country like the Redmi 5A, 10.or D and more.

Nokia 1, powered by Google’s Android Go project, has some handy advantages over other similar-priced smartphones like better hardware, software optimisation and app performance. Now, to add to the list, Reliance Jio has launched an introductory offer for the Nokia 1.

The telecom operator has tied up with HMD Global to offer an exclusive cashback of up to Rs 2,200/- and up to 60GB free data bundled with the Nokia 1 Android Oreo Go edition based smartphone.

Jio’s Free Data And Cashback Offer With Nokia 1

Jio launched the Rs. 2,200 cashback offer last month after tying up with a number of smartphone manufacturers as a part of special ISL offer. The same cashback offer is valid for Nokia 1 and Jio users. Users will get vouchers of worth Rs 2,200/- which can be redeemed directly from My Jio app on recharges.

To avail of the Jio Cashback offer, you need first buy a Nokia 1 and use any Jio SIM in it. You need to recharge your Jio account on or before June 30 to avail the cashback. The cashback will be available in the form of 44 vouchers of Rs 50/-each – adding up to Rs 2,200/- in all.

Redemption of Vouchers

The voucher of Rs 50/- can be used by redeeming it with future recharges on the My Jio App (not redeemable in any other e-wallet). Only one voucher can be redeemed for one recharge. The 44 vouchers will be valid until May 31, 2022.

The new Nokia-Jio Rs 2,200 cashback offer is subject to following conditions –

1. The user has to buy a new Nokia 1 smartphone after March 28, 2018.
2. The user has to be an active subscriber of Reliance Jio or new Jio subscriber.
3. They have to be a “Jio Prime” member.

How To Get Free 60GB Data With Jio?

Nokia 1 buyers are also entitled to free 60GB of 4G data with this offer. With the first recharge done before June 30, 2018, you will be entitled to an additional data of 10GB 4G data voucher. To avail the offer, a user must recharge with any of Jio’s prepaid recharge plans of Rs198 or Rs 299 and above.

There will be a total of six data vouchers one can avail for a maximum of six recharges during the extra data offer period. The additional data voucher can be redeemed during a recharge cycle period and is limited to the specific cycle period. The additional data vouchers will expire if remain unutilized at end of the recharge cycle period.
