Idea Offers Rs. 2,000 Cashback On Any New 4G Smartphone You Buy!

The recent trend of cashbacks on the purchase of a 4G smartphone is at an all-time high, as now Idea joins the cashback bandwagon after Jio partnered with multiple mobile brands and Airtel partnered with Nokia. Aditya Birla-led Idea Cellular has now taken the cashback bonanza to the next level and has announced a Rs. 2,000/- cashback offer on all the new 4G smartphones irrespective of any brand.

The Rs. 2,000/- Idea cashback offer is applicable to both prepaid and postpaid Idea customers who purchases a new 4G smartphone. The offer is valid from today, February 23, on the purchase of any 4G smartphone and will be available until April 30, 2018. All the customers will receive a Rs. 2,000/- Idea cashback when they buy a new 4G smartphone, irrespective of brand, unlike Jio’s or Airtel’s offers, which are only limited to a few select 4G smartphones.

How Can Customers Avail The Cashback?

To be eligible for the Rs. 2,000 Idea cashback offer, both prepaid and postpaid Idea users need to do a minimum amount of recharge or billing over a period of 36 months.

Idea prepaid customers need to do a cumulative recharge of Rs. 3,000/- in the first 18 months to be eligible for the first cashback of Rs. 750/-. The remaining cashback of Rs 1,250/- under the offer will be credited to the user’s account at the end of next 18 months if a cumulative recharge of Rs 3,000/- is done.

For the Idea postpaid customers to be eligible for Rs. 2,000/- Idea cashback offer, the users need to subscribe to any of the Nirvana voice combo plans starting at Rs. 389 or above, for a duration of 36 months.

Rs 2,000 Idea Cashback – Prepaid Offers

As part of the Rs 2000/- Idea cashback offer, Idea prepaid customers have to do a minimum recharge of Rs. 199/- or above, every month, to be eligible for the cashback. The Rs. 199/- prepaid recharge pack offers 1.4GB high speed 4G data per day, unlimited calls across all networks (local, STD and national roaming) and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.

Customers can also recharge with any of the long validity plans like Rs. 398, Rs. 449, Rs. 459 & Rs. 509 to be eligible for the cashback.

Rs. 2,000 Idea Cashback – Postpaid Offers

The Rs. 2,000/- Idea cashback offer is applicable on all the Nirvana voice combo plans starting at. Rs. 389/-. Postpaid users need to subscribe to the Rs. 389/- (or above) Nirvana plan for the entire duration of 36 months to be eligible for the Rs. 2,000/- Idea cashback offer. Idea’s Nirvana range of postpaid plans start from Rs. 389/- and goes up to Rs 2,999/-.

There are a total of 8 plans in the Idea Nirvana range. The company has recently revamped a few existing Nirvana plans. Among the revised plans, Nirvana Rs. 499/- Plan now offers 40GB of data, Nirvana Rs. 699/- Plan offers 50GB of data Nirvana Rs. 999/- Plan offers 80GB of data. All the Nirvana postpaid plans offer unlimited voice calls across all the networks, unlimited high-speed 4G data, data roll-over to next billing cycle and free SMS.

This is a first-of-its-kind offer in India, where an operator has announced a cashback for all their prepaid and postpaid subscribers on any new 4G smartphone. The Idea Cashback offer is now live and will continue till April 30.
