Nokia 8 Vs. OnePlus 5: The Battle Of The Titans! It’s Going To Be A Tough One!
With almost similar specifications on both it is going to be a close race!
Nokia was the undisputed king of the Indian mobile phone market during its heyday. A Nokia mobile phone was the equivalent of a status symbol. And the Nokia 3310 was a legend!
But then, the unthinkable happened. Nokia died and passed into the oblivion of obsolescence. It tried to make a comeback as a Windows Phone, but was severely hindered by the OS. The world moved on and Nokia became the stuff of nostalgia, to be remembered fondly.
Now, Nokia is making a grand comeback with a slew of solid, mid-range devices which offer good value for money. Nokia is now ready to launch their flagship smartphone, the Nokia 8, which is expected to hit the markets around Diwali.
Indian Market Has Changed
When Nokia used to rule the market, a flagship phone meant sky-high prices. But with advancements in technology and production methods, it is no longer the case. Case in point, the OnePlus smartphones.
OnePlus smartphones have always offered flagship specifications at mid-range prices. It was true for their first smartphone and it is true for their latest offering, the OnePlus 5.
For the people in India, it gives them a chance of owning a flagship-class smartphone at relatively sane prices.
Having said this, the Nokia 8 is set to launch with a price tag which is going to be dangerously close to the OnePlus 5.
