Airtel is doing all it can to counter Reliance Jio in each and every way. Earlier it started offering 15 GB 4G data @ Rs. 250 with just enough validity as the Jio ‘Welcome Offer’. Now, India’s leading telecom operator Airtel has updated its MyAirtel App with an exclusive app section featuring curated apps including free LIVE TV.
The updated MyAirtel App not just only allow you to access self-care features like checking account balance, paying bills, but also has an ‘Airtel Apps’ section. It features apps like Ditto TV (with 100+ LIVE channels), Hike Messenger, Wynk Music, Wynk Movies, Juggernaut, Airtel Money, and many more.

All these apps have been curated to ensure customers are offered the best of the web, with more exciting apps and partnerships coming in the near future. MyAirtel Now Has 2 New Airtel Apps
Along with the above mentioned above, MyAirtel app now features 2 new Airtel apps- Airtel Cloud and Airtel Dialer.
Airtel Cloud
Airtel Cloud offers free 2 GB cloud space for backup and storage. Uploading data to this cloud storage won’t count against the users’ data usage as long as they schedule an overnight backup. This feature is currently available only to Airtel Prepaid subscribers and will be extended to Postpaid users soon.
Airtel Dialer
‘Airtel Dialer’ also offers something to compete against the free voice calling facility offered by Reliance Jio. It offers free 50 minutes of A-A calls along with an inbuilt call management feature.
The users need to update their MyAirtel App to the latest version in order to enjoy these benefits.
It is worth noting that all these apps would be available without any subscription charges, so all you need to worry about is your mobile data usage. While Airtel offering 2 GB cloud storage is no big deal, what’s interesting is the fact that it won’t count against data usage for the scheduled backups during the night.

We are not so sure if the existing Airtel users won’t switch to Jio because of the benefits provided by this updated MyAirtel App, but what we do know for sure is that Airtel is not going to let Jio steal its subscribers so easily.
