Disney Plus will take action against users who are sharing passwords in Canada starting November 1.

It sent emails to Canadian subscribers earlier this week saying it will start restricting password sharing but didnt disclose how.
It did say it would not allow you to share your account with anyone who does not live under the same roof.
These users can opt for a cheaper, however ad-supported tier at the same time the new password-sharing guidelines roll out.

“Unless otherwise permitted by your Service Tier, you may not share your subscription outside of your household,” Disney wrote in its new service agreement for Canada.
