Last month, POCO launched the POCO X5 and POCO X5 Pro in the global markets.
The Indian market is waiting for the launch of the POCO X5 Pro in the meantime.
POCO X5 Launch In India
In recent times, POCO India Head, Himanshu confirmed that the POCO X5 will launch soon in the Indian market.
The phone maker has now started teasing the POCO X5 India launch, in a latest development.
In terms of specifications, the POCO X5 is quite similar to Redmi Note 12 5G as well as design.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor.
Considering the near launch, POCO has also teased the POCO X5 India price range.
In the teaser, POCO India has revealed that the upcoming POCO X5 will be priced under Rs 20,000 in the Indian market.
The base variant (6GB + 128GB) of the POCO X5 is priced at $249 (approx Rs 20,500) in global markets.
POCO X5 5G Specifications
The new launch POCO X5 flaunts a 120Hz AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and 1200 nits peak brightness.
Its display panel measures 6.67 inches in size and supports a 45,00,000: 1 contrast ratio and features a centered punch hole notch and comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The POCO X5 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor that comes coupled with an integrated Adreno 619 GPU.
The smartphone features up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM.
This new launch is pre-loaded with MIUI 13 for POCO, based on Android 12.
The POCO X5 relies on a triple-rear camera setup on the optics front.
The primary shooter on the device includes a 48MP sensor which is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and an LED flash.
For video calls and selfies, the smartphone relies on a 13MP front shooter.
The POCO X5 is supported with a 5000mAh battery unit, which comes with 33W fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
It sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which also doubles as the power button.
The smartphone also offers a micro-SD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and an IR blaster.
The POCO X5 is offered in Blue, Black, and Green color options and measures 165.88 × 76.21 × 7.98mm and weighs 189 grams.
It is also dust and splash-resistant with an IP53 rating.
