OnePlus is gearing up for its Summer Launch Event on 8 July, where the company is expected to unveil several new devices. Among them is the highly anticipated OnePlus Nord CE 5, which builds on the popular Nord CE series with a mix of design refinements and hardware upgrades.

Confirmed: OnePlus Nord CE5 Launching On This Date

Display and Design: Familiar but Fresh
According to leaks, the Nord CE 5 may feature a 6.77 inch flat OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Design-wise, it will closely resemble its predecessor, maintaining a vertical camera alignment and the signature OnePlus branding on the back. However, new colour variants may be introduced to freshen up the look.

Performance Powered by Dimensity 8350
Under the hood, the phone is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, the same chipset used in the Infinix GT 30 Pro and Motorola Edge 60 Pro. This SoC should deliver solid mid-range performance, making the device suitable for multitasking, gaming, and daily use.

Camera Setup: Dual Lens Simplicity
The OnePlus Nord CE 5 may come equipped with a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, offering a versatile photography experience. For selfies and video calls, a 16MP front camera is likely to be included. While not flagship-level, these specs should satisfy most casual users.

Battery and Charging: Big Power Boost
One of the standout features could be the massive 7,100 mAh battery, paired with 80W fast charging. This combination will likely provide extended battery life with quick top-ups, a feature appreciated by heavy users.

The phone may also include an IP54 rating, meaning it can resist dust and minor water splashes but is not built for submersion or exposure to heavy rain.

Expected Pricing: Around ₹25,000
While official pricing has not yet been announced, the Nord CE 4 launched at ₹24,999, and the CE 5 is expected to stay in the same range. Expect variants starting from ₹25,000, offering value-for-money features in the competitive mid-range segment.

With its launch just days away, the Nord CE 5 is shaping up to be a compelling choice for budget-conscious smartphone buyers.
