Amazon India, one of the country’s largest e-commerce platforms, is facing serious allegations of rigging its promotional contests. The controversy revolves around a man named Chirag Gupta, who has won multiple Amazon India giveaways over the last decade. His streak of wins has prompted widespread accusations that the contests are biased.

Amazon India Exposed! One Man Wins 6 Giveaways In 10 Years

Chirag Gupta’s Unusual Winning Streak

Chirag Gupta’s series of wins came into the spotlight when an X (formerly Twitter) user with the handle “@Crypt0holicpoet” pointed out that Gupta had won the Amazon Great Indian Festival’s ‘Apple MacBook Air M1’ contest. According to the exposé, Gupta has won at least six giveaways hosted by Amazon India, dating back to 2014. These prizes have included a fashion hamper, a OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, and Amazon gift cards worth ₹1,000, among others.

The X user accused Amazon India of favoritism, suggesting that the contest winners were preselected from an insider circle. “These admins are insiders. They choose winners from their friend circle and then take commission. I have been noticing it for 1 year,” the user wrote.

Social Media Backlash

Following the exposé, customers took to social media to express their outrage, accusing Amazon of rigging its giveaways. “This is a serious expose. One person has won the Amazon giveaway since last 10 years many times. Can’t be a coincidence,” commented one user. Another echoed similar concerns, saying, “Something’s off with Amazon India giveaways. Either they’re rigged, or this @ChiragG14 guy is a hacker—he seems to win every time!”

Many users have called for transparency in Amazon’s giveaway process, with some even suggesting that the company may be involved in unethical practices.

Amazon India’s Response Awaited

As of now, Amazon India has not issued an official statement addressing the allegations. The controversy, however, continues to gather attention, with customers demanding accountability. The incident raises larger questions about the fairness of online contests and the credibility of brands in maintaining transparency during promotional activities.

This scandal could damage Amazon India’s reputation, particularly if the allegations are proven true, eroding customer trust in the platform’s giveaways and contests.
