Hyderabad Termed the Biryani Capital
Hyderabad continued its reign as the “Biryani Capital” for the eighth consecutive year, with the dish being searched over 4 million times on the app. Every sixth biryani delivered by Swiggy in 2023 was ordered from Hyderabad, amounting to approximately 15 biryanis every minute, 900 biryanis per hour, or a staggering 21,600 biryanis per day.
