In a significant milestone for the Indian dairy industry, Amul is set to introduce its range of fresh milk products in the United States. This marks the first time that Amul Milk, renowned for its quality and freshness, will be available outside of India.
The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) has collaborated with the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) to distribute fresh milk in the US market.
Strategic Partnership
Under the partnership with MMPA, Amul will launch its fresh milk offerings, including one-gallon (3.8 litres) and half-a-gallon (1.9 litres) packs, catering to consumers in the East Coast and Midwest regions of the United States. This strategic alliance underscores Amul’s commitment to expanding its global footprint and meeting the needs of consumers beyond Indian borders.
Product Offerings
Amul’s fresh milk range in the US will include a variety of options to cater to different preferences and dietary requirements. Consumers can choose from Amul Gold, boasting 6 percent milk fat, Amul Shakti with 4.5 percent milk fat, Amul Taaza featuring 3 percent milk fat, and Amul Slim offering 2 percent milk fat. This diverse range ensures that consumers have options tailored to their taste and nutritional preferences.
