When it comes to electric vehicles, the first automaker that comes to mind is the world’s richest man’s auto giant Tesla, or if you think about the Indian markets, the first company that strikes a chord is the domestic automaker Tata Motors.
If you look at numbers, the top two most/best selling electric vehicle four-wheelers’ positions in the Indian auto sector are both occupied by Tata Motors’ EVs, namely the Tata Nexon EV and Tata Tigor EV.
However, both of these EVs and the other ones ranging in the top 5-10 positions are all quite heavy on the bulk, and also they are the EV products of traditional auto giants like Tata Motors, Hyundai, BMW and Mahindra & Mahindra, among others.
However, finally a four-wheeler electric vehicle by an EV startup has been launched this week, that is not just India’s smallest EV launched but also the most affordable in the domestic market.
