Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Slashed By Upto Rs 100 Across India! Check Latest Rates Of LPG Cylinders
The trend of the Centre cutting prices of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders for commercial use has been on a roll since some months now and today’s price cut adds to this streak.
According to a notification by top oil marketing companies or OMCs in India on Sept 1, 2022, prices of the 19-kg LPG cylinder for commercial use have been cut again by Rs 91.5, coming into effect starting Thursday.
Following the price cut on commercial LPG, here’s how much a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder cost in the four major cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata.
- In Mumbai, the price has been slashed to Rs 1,844 from Rs 1,936.5.
- In Delhi, it has been slashed to Rs 1,885.
- In Kolkata, it has been slashed to Rs 1,995.5 from Rs 2,095.5.
- In Chennai, prices have been cut to Rs 2,045 from Rs 2,141.
Prices of gas like LPG are revised twice a month, on the 1st of the month and on the 16th.
Its rate (gas cylinder) had touch a new peak on May 19 at Rs 2,354 and since then, the prices have been slashing.
On June 1, OMCs reduced the price of gas cylinders for commercial use to Rs 2,219 from May 19th peak, following another price cut of Rs 98 on such cylinders to Rs 2,021 after a month.
Later on July 6, the oil companies undertook another price cut on the cylinders, taking the cost to Rs 2,012.5 and in August it was further cut to Rs 1976.5.
Now, the price of commercial LPG cylinder has cut by Rs 91.5.
The rates of LPG vary from one city to another on a fortnightly basis and are reviewed every month.
