Sudhir Choudhary Quits Zee News; Announces Plan To Launch Something New
The famous Indian journalist and the editor-in-chief and CEO of Zee News Sudhir Chaudhary has resigned from the top media company Zee Media Corporation, starting July 1, 2022.
With this resignation, Chaudhary has also ceased to be the ‘Key managerial personnel of the company’, as per the media company’s filing. According to reports, Chaudhary has resigned from the company to start his own venture.

The famous prime time Indian journalist Sudhir Chaudhary has resigned from Zee Media as the CEO and editor-in-chief of Zee News to reportedly start his own venture.
Chaudhary has decided to resign from the media company after a long stint of a decade. He joined the company during its initial years but then left to join the Hindi-language news channel Sahara Samay in 2003, following which he also joined India TV for some time.
Later he returned to Zee News almost 9 years later in 2012, and hosted his own show Daily News & Analysis (DNA), which became among the highest rated Hindi speaking news shows in the country.
Chaudhary will be given a goodbye dinner on July 8 at the Constitution Club by Zee Media’s team, states reports.
Zee Media in a statement said, “This is to formally inform that Sudhir Chaudhury, CEO Cluster 1 has resigned from his services at Zee Media Corporation Limited with immediate effect. Since Sudhir has the inclination to start his own venture, it is with a heavy heart that Zee Media has accepted it.”
Further, Essel Group’s Chairman and Zee Media Mentor, Subhash Chandra said regarding Sudhir Chaudhary’s resignation, “Since he is planning to start his own venture by utilizing his fan following, I did not want to come in his way of progression.”
“To start my own enterprise. I assure you that my proposed new venture (If successful) will make you happy and proud of me. My success will be a testimony to my learning over more than 15 years Two stints) at Zee. With a heavy heart I have to say that ‘Great is the art of beginning, but greater is the art of ending.’ But, Sir at the same time I would like to add that, I am seeking your blessings for parting ways from ZMCL,” wrote Chaudhary.
