Maruti Baleno 2022 Will Challenge i20, Tiago, Jazz With These New Features!
Some new reports have revealed to us that Maruti Suzuki is planning to introduce a few major updates to its Baleno model.
Some test mules of this hatchback have already been spotted in the past few months.

Maruti Suzuki To Launch Upgraded Baleno
The spotted pictures have revealed that Baleno will get a comprehensive facelift. Maruti Suzuki had launched the Baleno in 2015 and it had also given the car a mild facelift in 2019.
The leaks have shown that the car will come with an emission testing apparatus attached to its exhaust. The car will also come with newly redesigned taillights, a new alloy wheel design, and new DRLs at the front.
There will also be a revised front grille and headlight clusters upfront. The car will also come in different color variants, but will likely retain the signature Nexa Blue color which lends it a certain distinctness.
Maruti Suzuki’s Baleno: Specifications And Features
On the rear end of the car is a tailgate is a unit that is stubbier than its predecessor, but it will be integrated with a more prominent boot spoiler. The car will maintain the previous model’s features, such as a raked windshield, integrated roof spoiler and a rear wiper.
The new Baleno will have an entirely redesigned dashboard layout with new features such as a new floating touchscreen infotainment system and cruise control, and new seat upholstery. In addition to these, some mother prominent features include on offer include Android Auto Apple CarPlay, auto climate control, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, etc.
Another significant update includes a sunroof and cruise control.
The sunroof feature is a first for a Maruti product.
The car will be powered by the latest version of the Heartect platform. The engine on the car will be either a 1.2-litre K12M VVT petrol unit or a 1.2-litre Dualjet unit with SHVS mild-hybrid tech. The first one churns out 82 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque, whereas the latter produces the same amount of torque and 7 more bhp.
