The IRCTC, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, is the ticketing arm of the Indian Railways. IRCTC was already offering booking services for trains and flights for the passengers.
And now, the IRCTC will also be offering the ticket booking services for buses as well!

IRCTC Now Offers Bus Ticket Booking Services Also!
Newest reports have confirmed that the IRCTC, a subsidiary company of the Indian Railways will now be offering the facility of bus ticketing as well. Passengers will be able to book bus tickets through the rail connect app by IRCTC.
As per reports, the busses will be operated to two different destinations in 22 states and 3 union territories. Also, no additional fees will be charged by the IRCTC from the passenger for this.
Apparently, a long trial run was operated by the national transporter, after which the bus ticketing facility became fully operation on Monday. During the trial run, around 2000 to 2500 passengers were booking bus tickets every day through the IRCTC Rail Connect app
As per reports, the operators include both private and state government buses.
How To Book Bus Ticket Through IRCTC?
If you want to travel by bus, you can visit the website https://www.bus.irctc.co.in/home and book the ticket to your destination. Reports are that the buses will be operated in almost all the states across the country.
As many as 50,000 bus operators across the country have associated with IRCTC to work with the corporation.
Recently, we reported that the Indian Railways is now offering a new service search for instant return of cancelled tickets.
This will now be possible through IRCTC’s own payment gateway, named IRCTC-iPay.
Through this platform, you can pay for the tickets at the payment gateway of a bank. Also, the refund (IRCTC iPay Refund Status) is credited to your account instantly.
You will have to give only one mandate for this UPI bank account or debit, after this, the payment instrument will be authorized for further transactions. This will definitely save a lot of time.
Additionally, when you book a ticket, your ticket comes in waiting (IRCTC iPay Features), and the ticket is automatically cancelled after the final chart is prepared. Even in such a situation, you will receive your refund instantly.
