Indian IT giant Wipro is conducting an off-campus hiring drive for engineering graduates of 2020 and 2021. Wipro’s ‘Elite National Talent Hunt 2020 & 2021’ will invite applications from fresh engineering graduates of 2020 and 2021, across the country.
Wipro’s Elite NTH is the IT giant’s fresher’s hiring program, which aims at hiring the best engineering talents of 2020 and 2021.
The objective of this initiative is to enable an equal opportunity for employment to the most deserving talent from Computer Science, Information Technology & Circuital Engineering streams in India, states Wipro.
Eligibility Criteria for NTH
Aspiring candidates must have passed their 10th and 12th standards with a minimum of 60% and their graduation with at least 60% or CGPA Equivalent of 6 (at least), as per university guidelines.
Kindly note that only full-time courses are eligible, no part-time or correspondence or distance learning education in either 10th or 12th or degree will be accepted.
Engineering graduates passing out in 2020 or 2021 are eligible to apply for the off-campus drive and their educational qualification must be B.E/B.Tech/5 Year Integrated-M.Tech.
Furthermore, all branches of engineering are allowed to apply for the role, except the streams from Fashion, Food, Textile and Agriculture.
More About the Role and Criteria
The role for which the Elite NTH off-campus drive will be held is of a ‘Project Engineer’.
The compensation package would be of INR 3.50 Lacs Per Annum, while the service agreement will be applicable for 12 months post joining at the rate of Rs 75,000 on pro rata basis.
Important criteria for candidates to keep in mind are:
- The only education gap allowed will be of a maximum 3 years, that too between 10th Standard and Graduation.
- The candidate should have a Full-time Degree course recognized by the Central/State Government of India.
- Candidates must not have any backlogs / Standing arrears on their resume.
- Candidates who have participated in any selection process held by Wipro in the last six months are not eligible.
Please note that only Indian citizens can apply for this job, while nationals of Bhutan and Nepal would have to submit their citizenship certificates.
Selection Process
Candidates will have to go through a three-step online assessment process, spanning a total of 128 minutes.
The first section would be an Aptitude Test, comprising of Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability , English (verbal) Ability sections. Its duration will be 48 minutes.
Following the aptitude test would be a ‘Written Communication Test’, which woujld include essay writing and the duration for the same would be 20 minutes.
The finale stage would be an Online Programming Test, which would contain two sets of programs for coding. The duration awarded for this round will be 60 minutes.
For the coding round, candidates will be given the choice to choose from any one of the programming languages, i.e., Java, C, C++ or Python.
The candidates passing the online tests would then proceed to two rounds of interviews: Technical Interview and HR Interview.
Wipro will inform candidates about the results of the recruitment by individual e-mails or other means of communication provided by individual candidates.
