Mahindra XUV 700 Launched At Rs 11.99 Lakh; Better Than XUV 500? (Features, USPs)
The much-awaited Mahindra’s lower variants of the new XUV700 has been launched in India. The remaining diesel and the range-topping AX7 variant will go on sale in India next month.

The price
The much-awaited Mahindra’s XUV700 was unveiled on August 14th at 4 p.m. These are the lower variants of the SUVs mainly the model of The remaining diesel and the range-topping AX7 variant will be launched next month.
The AX3 petrol trim will cost 13.99 lakh
The AX5 petrol variant has been at 14.99 lakh, (all prices ex-showroom).
Exterior
The new SUV measures 4695 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, and 1755 mm in height AND Wheelbase 2750 mm.
It will have a redesigned grille with vertical chrome slates and a new Mahindra logo, as well as new LED headlamps and dual C-shaped, LED Lights. The sporty alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, and flared haunches will also be included in the SUV.
New wraparound LED taillamps, a sculpted tailgate, and a muscular bumper with silver cladding will all be available on the SUV.
Interior
Mahindra has revealed several features that would be included in its upcoming mid-size SUV in recent weeks.
A panoramic sunroof, flush-mounted door handles, an AdrenoX suite with Alexa-based voice commands for the infotainment system, and dual digital displays for the instruments and touchscreen are among the features.
The two screens, infotainment setup as well as multi-information display sit flush under a single glass panel.
The front seats of the XUV700 are expected to be ventilated and covered in leather or faux leather fabric.
The SUV is also high on safety with features like front, side and curtain airbags, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX seat mounts, hill hold/descent function and electronic parking brake and Dynamic Stability Program (DSP) and a lot more.
The Engine Lineup For The Mahindra XUV700
Mahindra is offering the new XUV700 with both petrol and diesel engine options.
The Mahindra XUV700 Petrol Version
The 2.0-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol engine produces 197 bhp at 5000 rpm and 380 Nm of peak torque between 1750 and 3000 rpm in the petrol variant.
The engine comes mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic torque converter gearbox.
The Mahindra XUV700 Diesel Variants
It features a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder mHawk oil burner with three tuning options.
It is tuned to produce 153 bhp at 3750 rpm and 360 Nm between 1500 and 2800 rpm in base models and is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.
The Mahindra XUV700 Diesel AX
This variant has 182 horsepower at 3500 rpm and comes with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
The peak torque of 420 Nm at 1600 to 2800 rpm, the automatic option with the optional All-Wheel Drive (AWD) transfer case develops 450 Nm at 1750 to 2800 rpm.
