Adding another variant to the Redmi Note 10 lineup, the upcoming Mi phone will be a top-end model of the series with a number of changes inside. The company recently unveiled Redmi Note 10S in the country, and already there are a total of six devices in the series currently. Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G will go official on May 26 in China.
The company will also release Redmi Note 10 5G and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G on the same day.
Redmi confirmed the launch with a series of teasers and posters on different social media handles. Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G launch was confirmed on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G will come with the same design language as the other Note 10 series devices. The camera module is slightly wider with the flash placed differently and an added striped 3D texture for better grip. Unlike the quad-camera setups on the other Note 10 devices, the Redmi Note 10 Ultra will have a triple camera setup at the back with a centred punch-hole camera upfront similar to its siblings. The upcoming Redmi smartphone will feature a 6.53-inch AMOLED display offering 90Hz refresh rate.
Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G will be powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 1100 5G SoC, an octa-core chipset built on a 6nm manufacturing process and coupled with Arm Mali-G77 MC9 GPU paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G will come with 5G compatibility, backed by a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. The upcoming Mi phone will be available in three configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and a top-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
