The latest changes to the new Swift have made it sell like a hot commodity in the country as it has consistently been one of the best-selling cars in India.
Its fame doesn’t end in India as the model is equally appreciated in the international markets as a very popular hatchback.
Next Generation Swift Model
Adding to its soaring success, now the Japanese carmaker has decided to introduce Swift’s new-generation model.
The same is reflected by a media report, suggesting that the next-generation Suzuki Swift will be based on a newly developed platform.
The new model is expected to be lighter than the existing model with improved driving performance and more agility.
Prior to this, the Japanese manufacturer announced the Swift Sport Hybrid for the international markets last year.
Currently, it utilizes a 1.4-litre inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine working tandem with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system.
Now it seems that its reach will further be expanded in the next generation.
Interior And Exterior Changes
If we talk about the interior, expected to be equipped with a larger touchscreen infotainment system and latest heads-up display and mechanical changes.
While the suspension is said to be tuned for sporty driving along with high-performance-based dual sensor brake support.
Apart from this, new features and technologies will also be a part of the equation as well.
In the case of the exterior, it will be subjected to a number of revisions as the front fascia will get a split headlamp cluster and new LED Daytime Running Lights.
In addition to that, the front grille has a V-shaped design with the lower section featuring a three-dimensional structure with fins of similar color in the middle.
 The fog lamps will also get redesigned to have a more aggressive look.Â
Expected Launch
This next-generation Suzuki Swift is most likely to debut by next year and the Swift Sport version can be expected around 2023.
Compared to the regular model, the Suzuki Swift Sport will have many distinctions.
So far, the compact hatchback mostly ends up as the best-selling model every month In India.
Its latest generation made its global debut at the 2018 Auto Expo before going on sale.
