Kia Motors Has announced that the new Sonet and Seltos Will be launched in India in the next month. The South Korean car manufacturer has also announced the launch of electric vehicles by the company very soon.

Kia Motors India Announces Launch of Updated Seltos And Sonet
An online press conference was conducted by Kia Motors India, where some important announcements were made by the company.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing, Kia India said, “We will continue to hold the baton to drive innovation for future mobility and offering latest products for the Indian audience. Hence, we are going to offer refreshed Seltos and Sonet early next month, some surprises in between and a new segment entry early next year.”
Along with the launch of the updated Sonet and Seltos, Kia also announced that the company will be dropping the Motors from its name – Kia Motors India will now be Kia India only.
The Kia Seltos was first introduced in 2019, and it was pitted against the Hyundai Creta and other such cars in the same segment. And now, the news is that the new remodeled car will come in three engine options, such as 1.5 litre petrol, 1.4 litre GDI petrol and 1.5 litre diesel, across 16 variants.
This will be called the Kia Seltos Gravity edition and is expected to be paired with clutchless manual 6-speed iMT (intelligent manual transmission). Also, it will probably come with chrome studded grille upfront along with coloured ORVMs and new 18-inch alloy wheels as well.
Kia Planning to Bring 11 EV Line-Up By 2026
The company also has plans to bring an 11 EV line-up by the year 2026. Kia also has expansion plans that will cover 360 touchpoints covering 218 cities including tier-3 and select tier-4 towns.
After the launch of its first car in August 2019, which was the Kia Seltos, Kia India is now the fourth-largest car company in India in terms of sales. More than 2.5 lakh cars have been sold in India.
As per Kia, every third model sold in the segment is a Seltos and every sixth compact SUV sold is a Kia Sonet.
