Hyundai Staria MPV Images Are Out: Design Based On Inside-Out Design
The design of the new MPV is inspired by the inside-out approach, which shows the changing priority of customers to use the interior space. As per reports, the car is not to be launched in India but the carmaker is working a compact MPV for the Indian market. Additionally, Hyundai has also trademarked the Hyundai Staria nameplate in the country.
The car is boxy and tall with a curvy shape and retro design elements. The front of the car comes with a wide grille with chrome mesh design, rectangular LED headlamps with DRLs stretching horizontally across the width of the hood and a large windscreen. On the back of the car are vertically placed LED taillamps.
Dual Tone Interior, Three Variants; Official Details Yet To Be Disclosed
The interior of the Hyundai Staria MPV comes with a dual-tone interior theme with a multi layered dashboard. The car also has a large 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. There also is a digital instrument cluster and button-type shift lever.
The pictures show that the first row of seats comes with a one-touch ‘relaxation mode. This will help passengers recline their seats automatically. The feature details are not yet revealed, but news is that the car will come with an automatic AC unit, electric sliding door, ambient lighting, and more.
There are three variants in the new Hyundai MPV, which will be available in 7, 9, and 11-seats configurations. The lower trims will come with both captain seats and bench type seats for the passengers in the middle row. There will also be ottoman captain seats fitted with a reclining feature. Additionally, the seats in the top end variants will come with individual arm rest for the first and second row occupants.
However, the official powertrain details of the new Hyundai Staria MPV are still undisclosed.
