Hyundai’s 3-Seater SUV: Alcazar Will Be Revealed On April 6; Will Compete With These SUVs
OnApril 6, 2021, Hyundai Alcazar SUV will be revealed to the general public. Alcazar SUV, which is based on the Hyundai Creta, will be one of thefirst three-row SUVs from Hyundai after a long time.
The pricing of the same is expected to be revealed sometime in May 2021.
Exterior & Interior Details
The three-row SUV has been spotted in the road testing. A tweaked version of Creta’s front bumper and grille, cosmetic differences and a different alloy wheel design. IN order to accommodate the third row of seats, the SUV shall have an additional length added to its rear overhang.
The interior of Hyundai Alcazar is the key talking point as there are not many exterior differences. It will be offered in both six and seven seat configurations.
The spy shots revealed the dual-tone captain seats. The armrest is mounted with cupholders. Alongwith ISOFIX mounts, a wireless charging pad for second row will be provided in the SUV.
Powertrain, Technology & Safety
The petrol and diesel engine options, same as that in Creta, are offered in the new Hyundai Alcazar. This implies that a rather wide range of engine and gearbox options will be given to the customers as opposed to the direct rivals of this SUV such as the MG Hector Plus, the Mahindra XUV500 and the Tata Safari.
According to sources, the SUV shall come with ADAS technology, this is also known as Hyundai SmartSense overseas.
Features we can expect to come along with SmartSense:-
- Forward collision assist which includes automatic emergency braking tech,
- Blind spot collision avoidance assist
- Driver attention warning
- Automatic emergency braking while reversing
- Rear cross-traffic alert
Additional features can also be expected like Hyundai Alcazar like smart cruise control, highway driving assist and lane departure warning.
