Starting with the OnePlus 9E specs, the device will be a watered down variant of the OnePlus 9 model. The upcoming OnePlus phone will be an affordable option in the OnePlus 9 series, as other companies are trying to add in budget models to their premium offerings like Apple iPhone 12 mini or Galaxy S21 FE. The other rumours hint at it being the same OnePlus 9 Lite device.

The company could launch four phones this year under the OnePlus 9 series: OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9 Lite and OnePlus 9E.

All the devices will target different segments of different price categories. The device will come with the Snapdragon 690 chipset, and the latest leak suggests the phone will feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz display offering Full HD+ resolution with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. 

In terms of optics, OnePlus 9E is said to feature a 64-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit. It’s going to be a multi camera setup, probably a quad camera system with a macro and depth sensor. The phone is also expected to house a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support.

OnePlus Nord is available at starting at Rs 24,999 in India, so the OnePlus 9E price may start at under Rs 20,000 in the country.
