Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come up with yet another plan in an attempt to retain its wired broadband network customers in India. The plan, “Cinema Plus” will offer multiple new features at 35% cheaper rates.

BSNL Offers New Plan “Cinema Plus” For Rs. 129: Will It Retain Broadband Customers?
The BSNL’s new plan has been priced at a very low price of only Rs. 129 per month and is called “Cinema Plus.” The plan will come with subscriptions to multiple OTT channels in a single package.
As per reports, the new BSNL Broadband plan is basically the ‘YuppTV Scope Entertainment’ service and will come with a new name and will be completely owned by YuppTV.
This is an interesting offering from YuppTV and seems like BSNL would profit from this collaboration. The new plan is available only for existing subscribers of BSNL. If one tries to buy the BSNL wireless number and other telecom operators’ mobile number, they will be unsuccessful.
If you try to buy the plan without BSNL Broadband details, an error message will appear – indly contact customer care, as record is not present in CWSC.”
BSNL Cinema Plus: What Does It Offer?
The BSNL Cinema Plus is now available in only one pack that is dubbed as “Entertainment.” The plan was also offered as YuppTV Scope Entertainment Pack. It will offer subscriptions to four OTT channels, such as YuppTV, ZEE5, SonyLIV, and Voot.
In detail, customers will be able to enjoy a YuppTV subscription with more than 100 Live TV channels, along with a ZEE5 subscription with more than 80 Live TV channels, 500+ TV series, original TV shows, and over 2000 movies in various languages. There also is the SonyLIV subscription with 15+ Live TV channels and 200+ movies and the Voot subscription where customers will be able to watch Live TV from more than 35 channels and over 400 movies
The actual price of the single plan is Rs. 199 but is now being offered for Rs. 129 as a promotional offer.
Once users buy this plan, they will be required to download the YuppTV Scope application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Additionally, this app will also be available on Android TV and Amazon FireTV platforms.
