Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the Indian multinational information technology (IT) services have announced the National Qualifiers Test 2021 for fresher IT professionals.

It is noteworthy here that the registrations for NQT are open until February 10, 2021.
Here, NQT is conducted by TCS’ strategic unit TCS iON’.
This is basically a multi-level assessment to assess competence on core cognitive abilities required for entry-level jobs, industry-specific knowledge and insights, and specialization on skills required for performing the job role.
The first time it was introduced in 2018 and last year more than 3.6 lakh students participated from over 2,600 colleges.
This year, the NQT recruitment test will work as a gateway to help fresh software talent get hired.
Not only for TCS but other reputable participating organizations such as Equifax, Titan, Data patterns, UXD Jobs, Jump Start Ninja, Seaknots, Croma, Mosambee, Tata Electronics, Wishtree, etc.
Soon, the National Qualifier Test 2021 will take place on February 18 and 19 at authorized TCS iON test centers.
Thereafter, when the result is declared, the candidates will be assigned a valid NQT Score.
Those who qualified for the test would be eligible to apply for the jobs listed on the TCS iON portal.
The job seekers should note that once qualified, the NQT Score is valid for two years and can be used to apply for any entry-level role in several IT companies within the stipulated time period.
How To Apply For TCS National Qualifier Test
So far, the TCS National Qualifier Test is open to grab for all the freshers who aim to build a career in the software industry.
Below is the list of the candidates who can apply for NQT 2021 –
- UG, PG and diploma students in their pre-final and final year
- Students, who are pursuing a degree in any discipline or specialization
- All the freshers with less than two years of experience.

What About TCS NQT 2021 Test Structure?
The TCS NQT 2021 mainly aims to assess the technical skills and core competencies of the job seekers.
They will be assessed on the following criteria –
- Firstly, the competence of the core cognitive processes required for entry-level jobs.
- Industry-specific knowledge and insights.
- The candidates should have specialization in skills required for performing the job role.
- They will be doing a performance measurement of cognitive skills in the areas of verbal, numerical and reasoning abilities.
