Confirmed! New Maruti Alto 800 Launching Soon; Maruti Suzuki Facelift Launch In February
Reportedly, Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the all-new Alto 800 entry-level car in the country in 2021, as per the media report.

All New Alto 800 Launch
Sources suggest that TMSIL is planning to introduce 2 new entry-level cars, the Celerio and the Alto 800 in India this year
Apart from Maruti Suzuki, other top automakers are also planning to introduce a wide range of new cars such as SUVs and MPVs in the country in the next 11-12 months.
Maruti Suzuki Swift India Facelift
In addition to that, 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift’s India is scheduled for the launch in the second week of February 2021, sources confirmed.
This model has been already available for retail in international markets since 2020, will mostly feature cosmetic updates.
Along with the other changes, it will include a revised fascia which will now get a revised radiator grille.
The model is expected to be offered with an optional dual-tone exterior color option in its 2021 avatar in India.
Many New Launches in Next Financial Year
The next financial year will also witness the launch of 6-7 Maruti Suzuki cars, according to the sources.
Confirming the same belief, it was spotted on a test run in India fairly recently, suggesting the launch is around the corner.Â
In 2021, the Indian auto industry is expected to grow at 28% to 32%, which is one of the highest in the past decade.
Prior to this, the Indian Auto industry recorded a 30% growth in 2010.
New Alto 800 Features
According to the rumors, the new generation Maruti Alto 800 is to be based on the new HEARTECT platform.
Also said to underpin the new WagonR and the soon-to-be-launched new-gen Celerio hatchback.
It is also expected to improve NVH levels, handling and the power-to-weight ratio of the vehicle.
In addition to that, it is also likely to receive major design changes and an all-new interior.
The top-spec model is expected to receive a touchscreen infotainment system along with smartphone connectivity such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
While the entry-level model would come with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder and speed alert system.
