After a delay of more than a year, Reliance is all set to relaunch their popular JioPhone series in India.
Bad news is that, the cost of JioPhone will be slightly expensive, but the good news is that, it will be still less than Rs 1000.

JioPhone To Be Relaunched In 2021
As per a report by Economic Times, it has been revealed that JioPhones will be relaunched in 2021,with a new, more expensive price tag.
The last JioPhone which was launched was priced at Rs 699.
However, due to the rising cost of manufacturing phones, and increased import duties, the new revamped JioPhone will be costly but still, priced under Rs 1000.
A new company named Flex has been asked to supply these new JioPhones.
It’s expected that the new JioPhones will be launched in the first quarter of 2021.
JioPhone Exclusives?
Last month, we had reported about a new exclusive series of JioPhones, which is being currently planned.
As per the reports, Jio has partnered with Vivo and Google to roll out these exclusive JioPhones, which will be powered with advanced features such as Helio P35 processors, 13PM camera and more.
While the exclusive phones assembled in partnership with Vivo will be at the higher end of Rs 3000 to Rs 4000 per unit, the exclusive phones being made with partnership of Google will be low-cost, and priced under Rs 2000.
Now, since JioPhone is also working on a new phone, which will be entry level and priced under Rs 1000, Jio will have an interesting line-up of products for their users.
JioPhones comes bundled with data and voice plans, which have additional benefits compared to other normal plans which are not bundled with JioPhones.
