Popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station leaked that Xiaomi is working on a 200W fast charging technology. It’s said to be already in development, and the first devices with 200W charging will come in 2021. The new technology will drastically reduce the current best charging times.
While nothing else has been shared on how the charging technology will work, the expected charging time is said to be less than 10 minutes.
The Mi 10 Ultra 120W fast charging is one of the fastest currently available commercially. The 120W fast charger fills up a 4,500mAh battery in less than 15 minutes. Mi 10 Ultra takes around 23 minutes to be fully charged.
