Redmi 9 With MIUI 12 Flash Sale Today; New POCO Phone With 48MP Dual Camera?

Xiaomi has started the sale for two of its fairly affordable smartphones, Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Prime in India.

Last month, these two smartphones were launched in India and packed with MediaTek processors and large batteries. 

Redmi 9 Features And Specifications

While talking about Redmi 9, it comes preloaded with MIUI 12, based on Android 10 and features a 6.53-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Dot Drop display. 

Further, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

If we talk about storage, it has 64GB and 128GB of onboard storage options, both of which are expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB) through a dedicated slot.

For the cameras, the Redmi 9 is packed with the dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Talk about the selfies, the Redmi 9 comes with a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front.

In terms of storage, the smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging. 

For connectivity options, this smartphone includes Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, and a Micro-USB port. 

Apart from this, the Redmi 9 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and the user will also get a 3.5mm headphone jack.

If we talk about the price for the Redmi 9, it is starting at Rs. 8,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage model and at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 128GB storage option.

Further, this smartphone is available in Carbon Black, Sky Blue, and Sporty Orange color options.

The Redmi 9 will be available on sale at the same time via Amazon and Mi.com with offers on the phone and also provided with no-cost EMI options and bank cashback.

Redmi 9 Prime Features And Specifications 

The Redmi 9 Prime features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) IPS display and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, paired with 4GB RAM. 

Further, this display has a waterdrop notch on the top while the bezels are quite slim.

The Redmi 9 Prime is covered using a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 and Inside.

For the batteries, the Redmi 9 Prime is a 5020mAh battery that supports up to 18W fast charging.

In addition to that, Xiaomi bundles only a 10W charger in the box with the Redmi 9 Prime and also there’s a USB-C port on the Redmi 9 for charging and data transfers. 

Also, the Redmi 9 Prime runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top.

For the pictures, the Redmi 9 Prime brings a quad-sensor setup at the back, packed with a 13-megapixel main camera that’s paired with an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. 

Additionally, there is a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera and for selfies, it has an 8-megapixel sensor.

For the Redmi 9 Prime, the price is starting at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage model and at Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB + 128GB storage option. 

For the colors, Redmi 9 Prime will be offered in Matte Black, Mint Green, Space Blue, and Sunrise Flare color options.

The next sale for this phone will be starting at 12 pm (noon) on 14th September via Amazon and Mi.com.

POCO X3 NFC

In another development, the POCO X3 NFC launched, with a rare design.

According to the Chinese leaker revealed on Weibo, he came across two prototype POCO phones. 

Out of them, one is the POCO X3 which has 64MP quad rear cameras and a Qualcomm processor inside it while the other phone has 48MP dual-cameras. While both devices have a similar rear design as shown in the render.
