JioFiber broadband is available on a no-condition 30-day free trial for new subscribers. This trial will be at 150Mbps speeds, and they will also get a 4K set-top box with the bundle of subscription for 10 streaming platforms. The company says, “If you don’t like the service, we will take it back, no questions asked.”
The operator has introduced new plans that start at Rs 399 per month.
The plans are priced at Rs 399 for 30Mbps speed, Rs 699 for 100Mbps speed, Rs 999 for 150Mbps speed, and Rs 1,499 for 300 Mbps speed.
The operator says these are now truly unlimited data plans as the earlier data cap of some of these plans has been lifted. The plans also come with unlimited voice calls. For instance, the Rs 699 plan that offers 100Mbps speed earlier was unlimited up to 350 GB data per month.
With the revised JioFiber broadband plans for home users, there are also bundled subscriptions for streaming platforms which will depend on the plan you pick. The Rs 999 plan offers bundled subscriptions for 11 apps, while the Rs 1499 plan onwards offers 12 app subscriptions.
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sony Liv, Lionsgate Play, and Alt Balaji are some apps that are a part of the bundle.
Reliance Jio also says that potential new customers can try the JioFiber broadband service for 30 days—
JioFiber Vs Airtel Xstream, Tata Sky Broadband
JioFiber has competitors in the market like ACT Broadband, Spectra, Airtel Xstream, and Tata Sky Broadband among others.
Currently, Airtel Xstream’s lowest-priced plan is Rs 799 per month which offers 100Mbps speed with a data cap of 150 GB data usage per month. For unlimited data, you need to add the Rs 299 unlimited data top-up.
The Tata Sky broadband’s lowest-priced unlimited data plan is Rs 950 per month which offers 25 Mbps speed with a data cap of 1500 GB.
The lowest-priced JioFiber plan at Rs 399 for 30Mbps speeds is significantly more affordable and designed for those who require low data.
As you can see, Jiofiber broadband is out to give a tough competition to its peers by offering a reasonable speed at a much lower price!
Recently, Tata Sky broadband introduced 5 ‘Fixed GB’ data packs in the price range of Rs 790 to Rs 1470. The Rs 790 per month plan offers 50 Mbps speed with a data cap of 150 GB.
