Xiaomi will celebrate 10 years of making smartphones with special Redmi K30 and Mi 10 handsets on August 11. Xiaomi co-founder Lei Jun confirmed the upcoming special edition Xiaomi smartphones: Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra launch on Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
The devices will be released in the global market, and both are special anniversary edition handsets.
Mi 10 Ultra is being labelled as the super-premium flagship from Xiaomi which may challenge the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series.
In China, the Mi 10 Ultra will be called the Mi 10 Supreme Commemorative Edition to mark 10 years of Xiaomi. Redmi K30 Ultra is said to be called the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition in China.

Mi 10 Ultra Price, Specs: All You Need To Know
Mi 10 Ultra will come with 16GB of RAM and 120X zoom. The device will be available in three different variants: 8GB RAM with 256GB, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 16GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. Mi 10 Ultra will be available in two different colour combinations: ceramic back finish and the transparent back finish.
Mi 10 Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm flagship 5G chip, the Snapdragon 865 SoC alongside a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Mi 10 Ultra will have a rectangular shaped camera with a small panel for notifications on the front that would display time and date. It’s going to be a quad-camera setup at the back with triple LED flash system.
Mi 10 Ultra price is said to start at 6,999 Yuan in China (around Rs 75000). The device will have a ton of high-end features on-board as 120Hz AMOLED hyperboloid flexible screen, million-level super-fast charging, 120X Super Zoom and much more.

Redmi K30 Ultra will launch in China as a special anniversary edition. After multiple editions, the upcoming Redmi K30 Ultra will be a Commemorative Edition to mark 10 years of Xiaomi in the business. Redmi K30i 5G was recently unveiled as well.
Redmi K30 Ultra is said to be called the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition in China.
Redmi K30 Ultra will come with a similar design as Redmi K30 5G original edition. The design may resemble the Redmi K30 Pro model which features a pop-up front-facing camera and an all-screen bezel-less display.
Redmi K30 Ultra is said to come with the 64MP primary rear-facing camera. Redmi K30 Ultra is being tipped to be the first Redmi K30 series handset to run on a MediaTek SoC. TENAA details reveal Redmi K30 Ultra will be powered by the Dimensity 1000+ and 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM.
The device will come with up to 512GB of storage and 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
Everything else is expected to remain the same. Upfront, the device will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate, quad camera system at the back and fast charging support. Redmi K30 Ultra will run on Android 10, though will soon be getting Android 11 with the latest MIUI 12 on top.
