Vivo unveiled its latest gimbal camera technology flagships in India: Vivo X50 Pro and the regular Vivo X50. At the online launch event two devices were announced Vivo X50 and Vivo X50 Pro and Vivo’s first-ever TWS earbuds in India. The wireless earbuds Vivo will directly take on upcoming OnePlus Buds.
Vivo X50 series will also take on upcoming OnePlus Nord, set to launch on July 21.
Vivo will invest 7,500 crore in the Greater Noida facility to make sure all Vivo phones are Made In India. The company currently sells all Vivo phones manufactured/assembled in India. The company added that it will soon start designing phones in India besides manufacturing.
The first Vivo designed in India will launch next year in 2021.

Vivo X50 Pro comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Vivo X50 Pro price in India is set at Rs 49,990. Vivo X50 price in India starts at Rs 34,990 for 8GB RAM model with 128GB. The 8GB RAM model with 256GB Vivo X50 is priced at 37,990.
Vivo launched TWS Neo earbuds at Rs 5,990 as well in the country.
Pre-bookings for the latest Vivo products start today and will be on till July 23. The Vivo X50 sale along with TWS Neo earbuds begins on July 24.

Both the Vivo X50 smartphones feature a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The displays offer a screen resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels with 90Hz refresh rate. Vivo X50 Pro debuted in India first with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC in India, the mid-range Qualcomm 5G chip with 256GB storage, 8GB RAM.
Vivo X50 is mellow in comparison with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset, 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage.
Both the smartphones feature an in-display fingerprint sensor embedded beneath the display.The X50 smartphones run on Funtouch OS based on Android 10.
In terms of optics, Vivo X50 comes with a quad rear camera setup at the back. Upfront, the smartphones pack a 32-megapixel inside the punch-hole.
It’s a 48-megapixel main camera at the back with f/1.6 aperture and OIS. The main sensor pairs with a 13-megapixel telephoto camera capable of 2x optical zoom, third 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens while the fourth is a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
The X50 Pro has a similar 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.6 aperture, but it comes with gimbal OIS support.
Vivo X50 Pro includes an 8-megapixel periscope lens with OIS for 5x optical zoom. The device further includes a 13-megapixel portrait sensor with 2x optical zoom and fourth 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Upfront, X50 Pro has the same 32-megapixel sensor as the Vivo X50.
Vivo X50 houses a 4,200mAh battery while the X50 Pro packs a slightly larger 4,315mAh battery, capable of running for more than a day on a single charge. Both the Vivo X50 devices come with 33W fast charging technology support and ship with the fast charging bricks with the box.
