PlayStation 5 has been unveiled. The upcoming PlayStation 5 is going with a more futuristic design with exclusive titles to be available on Sony PS5. At its “future of gaming” event, Sony gave us the much-awaited first look of PS5 console alongside it’s upcoming lineup of exclusive games.
It was an hour-long digital-only event where the company took the wraps off.

PlayStation 5: 4K Blu-Ray Drive, Digital Edition
Sony unveiled two models under the latest PlayStation 5 series. The first one is going to be a physical device, the regular PS with a 4K Blu-Ray drive and the second one will be a Digital Edition. PlayStation 5 Digital Edition will not include a disk drive.
The design approach on PlayStation 5 is futuristic and it can be placed vertically or horizontally, the way you like it. PS5 will come with the next-generation DualSense controller.

The PlayStation 5 design has been given a futuristic look. The Japanese tech giant is looking to bring in an aesthetic look with the console and let it stay apart from the completion. PS5 will also include a number of accessories: camera, headphones and remote control.
Sony unveiled PlayStation 5 at the online event including games as Gran Turismo 7 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
PlayStation 5 Price, PlayStation 5 Release Date
The company is yet to announce PlayStation 5 price or even the PS5 release date in India or globally. PS5 accessories pricing is also yet to be announced. Sony will probably follow it’s competitor Microsoft this time to launch the latest PlayStation 5.
The company will try to hype up the product and games before the launch, while the PS5 release may happen during the 2020 Holiday season.
PlayStation 5 Hardware: What You Get Inside?
PlayStation 5 will have an eight-core CPU based on AMD’s 7nm process. It’s a custom AMD RDNA 2-based GPU to offer the next level top-end graphics. PS5 will have 16GB of GDDR6 RAM with a solid-state drive (SSD). PS5 will support 8K graphics.
Apart from it, it will be able to deliver 4K graphics at a 120Hz refresh rate with 3D audio. Also, PS5 will be backwards compatible with the PS4 supported games.

The company at the livestream introduced several games for PlayStation 5 which includes star titles as Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Resident Evil 8 and Gran Turismo 7.
Fortnite will be available on PS5 during launch. The game will move to Unreal Engine 5 on PS5 in 2021.
Destiny 2 will be available. Additionally it will include cross-play across generations. Next Battlefield game will be available on PS5 as well. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on PS5 later.
