Mi A4 Design: New Camera Cut-Out, Glass Body
The Mi A3 didn’t see much of a lookover in terms of design if compared to Mi A2 except for the glass build on the out. While the upcoming Mi A4 will have a brand new design makeover. Mi A4 will have a circular camera cutout at the back featuring four cameras stacked inside.
The current left top corner vertical camera stack is going away. Upfront, the device will feature a punch-hole display as the Redmi Note 9 series.

Mi A4 Display: Punch-Hole Cut-Out, Slimmer Bezels
The Mi A4 will have a brand-new display design this time with much slimmer bezels and chin. The bezel-less design will feature a small punch-hole cutout on top left for the front camera. Xiaomi currently has no smartphones in India which features a punch-hole.

Mi A3 has been heavily criticised by many for the HD+ only display. While it was an AMOLED panel, almost all complained about the low pixel density and inferior quality compared to other panels. The company will probably choose to go with a Full HD+ panel this time, maybe an AMOLED one.
Xiaomi can either go with a Full HD+ panel offering a side-mounted fingerprint sensor or a Full HD+ AMOLED panel with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The design confirms no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Mi A4 Camera: 108MP Sensor With 120x Zoom Support
The device with codename CAS is said to ship with the 108MP primary camera. It’s Mi CC10, which may launch in India as Mi A4 with the new 108MP sensor. It’s not going to be the Samsung HM1 sensor on Mi CC9 Pro or Mi 10 series. Mi A4 will come with the upcoming Samsung HM2 sensor.
Mi A4 or Mi CC10 will support up to 120x digital zoom and 12x optical zoom. In comparison, Mi CC9 Pro / Mi Note 10 and the latest Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition only support 5x optical zoom and up to 50x digital zoom. The Mi CC 10 could be a periscope lens and the new 108MP camera lens to achieve the same.
Mi A4 5G Support, To Run On Snapdragon 775G, Android 11
The Mi CC10 specifications tipped include Snapdragon 775G chipset chip with 5G support. Mi A4 will come with 5G support on dual modes. Mi A3 came with Snapdragon 665 SoC, and the upcoming Mi A4 is expected to feature an enhanced chip.
Xiaomi have previously confirmed to launch devices on the new mid-range Snapdragon chips launched.
Coming to Mi A4 software, it will run on the latest version of Android. Being an Android One device, it’s expected to run on the upcoming Android 11 offering stock experience.
Mi A4 Battery, Fast Charging: To Support 27W Fast Charging?
The current Mi A3 does support fast charging, but doesn’t chip with any inside the box. The Mi A4 will pack in a sizable battery, more or equal to 5,000mAh. Mi A4 will support fast charging, maybe either a 18W brick or a more powerful one inside the box.
Mi A4 Launch, Mi A4 Price: To Come In August 2020?
