All details about Mi Notebooks. Which Mi laptops will launch in India? Mi Notebooks, RedmiBooks, Mi Laptop Air, Mi Gaming Laptop? Mi Laptops, RedmiBooks are coming to India soon. Xiaomi India MD Manu Jain indirectly confirmed the launch of Xiaomi laptops in India.
Xiaomi India is yet to give us details on which laptop will launch first.
The Mi and Redmi laptops are quite popular in China, and it could turn out to be a big hit in India as well. The Mi Notebooks and RedmiBooks will be much more affordable compared to the existing ultrabooks from Acer, Dell and HP.
Which Mi Laptops Are Coming To India?
The number one smartphone and TV brand in India, is now all set to enter the aggressive laptop market in the country. Previous leaks have hinted towards launch of the RedmiBook and Mi Notebook models in the country soon.
Xiaomi already sells laptops in China, and it also now sells a new range under the Redmi brand.
It has two laptop series available currently namely Mi NoteBooks and RedmiBook laptops. The RedmiBook laptops are affordable toned-down ultrabooks, and till now the separated Redmi brand have unveiled two laptops: RedmiBook 13 and RedmiBook 14.

Xiaomi currently sells multiple laptops under the Mi Notebook branding. The series include Mi Notebook laptop, Mi Notebook Pro variant, Mi Gaming laptop and Mi Laptop Air. Recently some reports came in that the Mi Laptops in India will cost higher than the budget segment laptops.
So Xiaomi is expected to bring the high-end ultralight Mi notebooks to India.
Xiaomi India may launch the standard Mi Notebook first in the country which will be followed by the high-end Mi Notebook Pro, Mi Gaming laptop, Mi Laptop Air and later laptops from Redmi brand: the RedmiBooks.
Initially Xiaomi will unveil two series under Mi Notebook which has been chosen based on requirements of Indian users. The company aims to target students and office focusing on a mix of gaming, entertainment, education and productivity.
Xiaomi will start with the Mi Notebook series in India with Mi Book Air expected in the top-end range. Mi Laptop 13.3-inch, Mi Laptop 14-inch and Mi Laptop 16.1-inch versions will launch. There could be a Mi Notebook 14 variant as well running on Intel’s Comet Lake-H processors.
The Redmi laptop comes with a 14-inch IPS LCD display featuring a Full HD panel. It will come with different processors including Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7. They recently unveiled devices running on the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors with a new 16-inch screen size.
RedmiBook 13 may come to India which comes with a smaller 13.3-inch Full HD+ display with narrow bezels. There’s 8GB RAM inside RedmiBook 13 as standard onboard storage while a 512GB SSD storage is present on all the models. It runs on Nvidia MX250 graphics card.
The Redmi laptop runs on the latest Windows 10 Home out of the box. There’s a full-size island-style backlit keyboard, similar to Apple laptops. The size is very compact and lightweight with an all aluminium metal design on the out featuring a solid build weighing around 1.3kgs.
Mi Laptop Price In India, RedmiBook Price In India: Mi Laptops In India
Xiaomi has RedmiBook name registered, so the company will start with the low-end lightweight ultrabooks in the country. Known for it’s cut-throat pricing, the company will price the Redmi laptops quite aggressively.
Mi Notebook price in India is expected to start at around Rs 30,000 for the budget models. The company is yet to confirm the Mi Notebook models. The Mi Notebook price in India will come from budget to premium category.
It may either bring both the 13-inch model and 14-inch model, or one at a time.
RedmiBook 13 starts at 3799 Yuan (around Rs 40,130) with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage with Ryzen 5 processor. The top-end variant of the RedmiBook 13 comes with Ryzen 7 processor, 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage at 4999 Yuan (around Rs (Rs 52,800).
