Popular automobile manufacturer, Kia Motors, has claimed that they will be launching a new electric vehicle, whose engine will be fully charged within 20 minutes only!
Electric vehicles are being promoted in India by the Government as well, and all the automobile manufacturers are producing their models in electric versions too.

Kia Motors To Launch Electric Battery That Can Be Fully Charged Within 20 Minutes Only
The charging time of electric vehicles is something that shows a huge scope of improvement for electric vehicle manufacturers.
Kia Motors, a leading manufacturer of vehicles, based out of South Korea, has announced that they will soon be launching a new electric vehicle that will be powered by a battery which can be charged within 20 minutes only.
This new car by Kia Motors will be names Kia CV, and it is based on the “Imagine” concept that the company previously showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019. As revealed by the company, the car will come with a next generation charging technology and a brand new platform that has been built specifically for electric vehicles.
Porsche Taycan And GMC Hummer EV Use Similar Platforms
The Kia CV will be the flagship model of Kia Motors and it will be employing Hyundai’s new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). This platform relies on an 800V architecture and it is the same platform that will allow the car to recharge fully in less than 20 minutes’ time.
As per reports, the E-GMP platform has also been used in Porsche’s EV, called the Porsche Taycan. The same platform has also been used in the GMC Hummer EV, and the officials of Kia Motors have revealed that the Kia CV will use the same battery technology and will offer a recharge time of below 20 minutes with the help of a compatible fast-charging network.
Also, the car will also drive in the range of “around 300 miles” and it can also go from 0 to 62 mph in under 3 seconds only.
