OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro will be made in India. The OnePlus 8 devices are said to be being manufactured in India presently, and the smartphones will go on sale in the country in late May. OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro were unveiled back in April, and the devices expected to go on sale in India soon.
In an interview with IANS, OnePlus India GM Vikas Agarwal confirmed that the OnePlus 8 series is currently in production in India.
The OnePlus 8 series sales could begin as soon as the end of May, Agarwal added. The company recently announced the OnePlus 8 series India prices as well, and the India pricing is considerably cheaper than the international pricing, but costlier than the OnePlus 7T series.

OnePlus has a huge premium smartphone market in the country, and hence producing phones in India could give it some leverage over the competition. The BBK Electronics- owned company recently lost one-third of its market share in the last quarter in India.
With a production facility in India, it will allow OnePlus to lower the prices and save on import tax and custom duties.
