Mi Note 10 Lite and Redmi Note 9 are coming to India. Unveiled in China, the latest Xiaomi phones launch in India soon. Mi Note 10 Lite is a toned-down Mi Note 10 focusing on cameras as the top variant.
Redmi Note 9 joins the series with a similar camera setup, punch-hole display and all new Helio G85.
Redmi 9A launch was expected earlier, but it got pushed due to the lockdown. The company a few weeks back unveiled an upgraded version of the Redmi 8A, and now the Redmi 8A Dual successor is expected in May.

Here’s a list of the expected upcoming Xiaomi phones in India in the budget category in May and the following weeks.
Redmi Note 9
Redmi Note 9 has been unveiled in China. The device will come to India soon to join the already unveiled Redmi Note 9 series. Redmi Note 9 is powered by Helio G85 chipset, the first smartphone to run on the new MediaTek chip. Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout upfront, but on the corner unlike the Redmi Note 9 series. At the back, Redmi Note 9 packs square shaped quad camera design.
The four camera setup on Redmi Note 9 sports a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Note 9 runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Redmi Note 9 houses a 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Mi Note 10 Lite
Mi Note 10 Lite has been unveiled in China, and it could be coming to India soon. The device features a 6.47-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a water drop notch supporting HDR 10. Mi Note 10 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 730G SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Mi Note 10 Lite packs a 5,260mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging.
At the back, Mi Note 10 Lite has a quad rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Upfront, it features a 16-megapixel camera.
Redmi 9A
Redmi 9A may come in May 2020. The launch was expected earlier, but it got pushed due to the lockdown. The company a few weeks back unveiled an upgraded version of the Redmi 8A, and now the successor to Redmi 8A Dual is being expected in May, the Redmi 9A. Said to be going against the recently launched Realme C3, Redmi 9A will fight in the budget category offering similar features and functionalities.
Redmi 9A may run on the Helio G70 processor. Redmi 9A will pack a bigger battery, probably the same 5,000mAh battery as Redmi 8A Dual. Redmi 9A will be available in India in the sub-8,000 segment, expected to come with some upgraded features this time.
Redmi H1
A brand new Redmi H series is coming. Xiaomi is yet to announce Redmi H officially, the recent leaks hint at the Redmi smartphone being in the development phase. The first smartphone under Redmi H series is probably going to be Redmi H1, and the Dimensity 800 5G SoC will power it. The new Dimensity 800 5G supports 5G with two carrier aggregation (2CC CA) for 30% wider high speed layer coverage.
Redmi H1 is going to be a budget 5G phone running on Dimensity 800 5G. The leaked specs reveal Redmi H1 with a 48MP primary camera with a 60Hz display. Dimensity 800 series supports Full HD+ displays with refresh rates up to 90Hz.
