Redmi K30 Pro Better Than Mi 10 Pro? Xiaomi VP Says No
The latest flagship series by Xiaomi has been making some news lately, and the Mi 10 series may even come to India. With Realme and others bringing their flagships to India, Xiaomi won’t miss out on the chance to score in the flagship segment.
Recently Xiaomi VP and Redmi GM Lu Weibing was asked whether the upcoming Redmi K30 Pro can beat Mi 10 Pro with better specs.
He replied with a no. When asked, “Redmi K30 Pro surpasses the Xiaomi 10 Pro?” Lu Weibing replied, “No, don’t think about it”. So, while Mi 10 Pro remains the best by Xiaomi for now, Redmi K30 Pro will be close to what Mi 10 Pro is offering.
Redmi K30 Pro Launch: Pop-Up Camera, 5G, 33W Fast Charging
The upcoming Redmi K30 Pro has been confirmed to sport the same pop-up selfie camera design as Redmi K20 Pro. The K30 Pro will pack a 4,700mAh battery and will have support for an upgraded 33W fast charging technology.
Redmi K30 Pro will feature an OLED full-screen display.
Coming to optics, K30 Pro will have the same Sony IMX686 64MP sensor as Redmi K30 inside a circular camera module featuring a total of four cameras.
The Geekbench listing confirms the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with dual-mode SA and NSA 5G support. The flagship chip will pair with 8GB/12GB of RAM, expected to be LPDDR5. Redmi K30 Pro launch is expected to happen by May.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro: Specs, Price
Mi 10 Pro features a 6.67-inch 90Hz OLED 1080p display along with a punch-hole for the selfie camera. Under the hood, Mi 10 Pro runs on the latest flagship chip by Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 865 SoC with upto 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Mi 10 Pro has a quad rear camera setup featuring the much-hyped 108-megapixel primary sensor.
Mi 10 Pro will run on the latest version of MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
The four camera setup has the 108MP main camera, a 12MP short telephoto lens, 8MP long telephoto lens and a 20MP ultra wide-angle lens. Upfront, it sports a 20MP single shooter.
Mi 10 Pro now has the highest score of 124 on DxOMark. Mi 10 Pro houses a sizable 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast charging tech support. The smartphone also supports 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Mi 10 Pro starts at RMB 4,999 (around Rs 51,050) for base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The top-end Mi 10 Pro model features 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and has been priced at RMB 5,999 (around Rs 61,000).
