This year, the carandbike Auto Expo Excellence Award for the best four-wheeler pavilion at the 2020 Auto Expo went to MG Motor India.
Which is essentially a British brand, MG Motor India put up a British themed pavilion which not only looked the part and but was also planned beautifully.
This year, MG Motor India displayed cars which showcased its rich British heritage, starting with the gorgeous MG A and ending with one of the best concept cars at the expo, the MG Vision I.
Moreover, the MG Motor pavilion was a true visual delight and a unique narrative of Morris Garages’ history.
Who Won Auto Expo 2020 Best Concept Award?
Lately, concepts have turned out to be a big crowd puller, even more so when we know they will make it to production and are not just gimmicky showpieces.
Either it be the design or their prospects of making it to production or their future application and the markets they will venture into among others, everything was taken into consideration to ensure comprehensiveness.
Atlast, three concepts made it to the nominees’ list- the Tata HBX mini SUV concept, Tata Sierra concept and the Skoda Vision IN.
Though, the Tata HBX was eliminated being just an India-specific model, it was a tough fight between the Tata Sierra and Skoda Vision IN.
Finally, the Skoda Vision IN ticked all the right boxes when it came to flexibility, usability, global markets it will go to and what urban SUV buyers look for, making it the Best Concept at the Auto Expo 2020.

With a sexy design, the Kia Sonet looks every bit the chunky SUV. With the rugged characteristics in its stance couple well with some stylish urban elements in its overall design.
So the Kia Sonet beat out some very stiff competition to win the CNB Auto Expo Excellence Awards 2020 – Best of Show trophy.
Who Won Auto Expo 2020 Best Two-Wheeler Pavilion?
However, the participation from mainstream two-wheeler manufacturers was low-key at the Auto Expo 2020, Piaggio India had one of the best laid-out pavilions at the event, showcasing the brand’s new unveil, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi premium bikes, new BS6 range of Aprilia scooters, as well as the 2020 facelift models of the Vespa range of scooters.
As per the reports, the showstopper at the Piaggio India pavilion was, of course, the all-new Aprilia SXR 160, a new premium 160 cc scooter based on the Aprilia SR 150, but with completely new bodywork, as well as a slightly longer wheelbase.

After a strong deliberation, the jury members did reach a consensus and voted for the Volkswagen Taigun, which was much deserving!
Who Won Auto Expo 2020 Best Bike Of Show?
Although, the participation from mainstream two-wheeler manufacturers have been low yet at the Auto Expo 2020, and there were many lesser known brands in the electric two-wheeler space.
The CNB Auto Expo Awards for Excellence 2020 honoured and recognised the efforts by auto manufacturers who put their best foot forward with launches, concepts, innovations and more.
In Spite of having a lot of electric two-wheelers which were in contention for the Best Bike of the Auto Expo 2020, the Suzuki Katana was chosen unanimously as the Best Bike of the Auto Expo 2020.
Talking about 2020 Suzuki Katana, it is based on the Suzuki GSX-S1000F, and powered by the same 999 cc, in-line four-cylinder engine which puts out 147 bhp of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 105 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm.
