Realme 5i is all set to launch on January 6. The Realme 5 series has been super successful, and now after three variants, it’s time for another Realme 5 variant to launch. The company recently added a Realme 5S to the series, and now Realme 5i will add up to the portfolio.
Ahead of launch, the listing reveals some key specifications of Realme 5i.
The new Realme device will go official in Vietnam on January 6, while the India launch details are yet to be shared. The company has officially confirmed the Realme 5i launch in January, and now the listing has revealed almost everything about the new smartphone.

The new Realme 5i is going to be the fourth smartphone in the Realme 5 series inheriting features from the earlier smartphones. Starting with the design, the upcoming Realme 5i is going to have a similar build as the Realme 5.
Upfront, Realme 5i has similar thin bezels on sides with a thick chin down under. On top, 5i will sport a water drop notch featuring the front camera.
The volume rockers stay on left, power button on the right and the rear panel has the quad-camera setup on the left top with twin LEDs within the smaller module.
The fingerprint scanner stays at the same location as Realme 5, center of the upper half with Realme branding on the bottom left.
Realme 5i will come with a large 6.52-inch HD+ display running on the same Snapdragon 665 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU. Realme 5i will be available in two models with upto 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
Coming to optics, the Realme 5i quad camera system will be powered by a 12-megapixel primary lens with an 8-megapixel lens, and two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors. Upfront, Realme 5i will feature an 8-megapixel sensor.
Realme 5i houses a massive 5,000mAh battery running on Android 9.0 Pie based ColorOS 6.1 UI. Realme 5i will be available in two color variants: a new green model and the same blue option as Realme 5.

Realme 5i official pricing is yet to be announced. The chances of Realme 5i coming to India are thin, as the specs of Realme 5i match up with Realme 5 in India. Realme also launched an upgraded Realme 5S a month back as well.
Currently, Realme doesn’t sell Realme 5 in Vietnam or in other southeast Asian markets, so it may remain exclusive for the region.
Realme in Vietnam already sells Realme 5S with similar features except for the 48-megapixel primary camera in comparison to the Realme 5i. Realme 5i will be available at a more affordable price compared to Realme 5S, expected between INR 8,000 to INR 10,000.
