Netflix India’s Most Popular Releases Of 2019 Revealed: Kabir Singh, Sacred Games Are The Winners!

Netflix India has finally revealed the top shows of 2019, which Indians loved to watch. Although no official numbers were shared, as to how many people actually watched these shows, but the ranking gives us a clear picture.

Top Netflix India Releases Of 2019

Sacred Games season 2 is the #1 release from Netflix India this year. Based on Vikram Chandra’s immensely popular novel of 2006, Sacred Games series was directed by veterans such as Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Neeraj Ghaywan.

Actors such as Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Pankaj Tripathi were casted for this series. 

Kabir Singh, the movie starring Shahid Kapoor was the 2nd most popular series on Netflix India is 2019. Based on Telugu movie Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh was a major boxoffice hit as well, churning out more than Rs 200 crore from ticket sales.

 Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 was the third most popular release on Netflix India in 2019.

In the top 10 list of the most popular releases, we have three other series: Bard Of Blood, starring Emran Hashmi, Delhi Crimes and Chopsticks.
