Xiaomi won’t be taking much time to upgrade its current set of hit flagship K20 series. Redmi K20 series has been the best-selling flagship series and the company is soon bringing the Redmi K30, probably by the end of 2019.
The leaks suggest that Redmi K30 will launch before 2019 ends, and Redmi K30 Pro will drop in by early 2020.
Xiaomi has previously confirmed that it is working on the upcoming Redmi K30. Even the first set of teasers are out as well. Redmi K30 will come with 5G support with a new punch-hole designed display and not with any pop-up sensor.

Redmi K30 Launch Leaks: Redmi K30 India Launch In 2019?
The Redmi K30 series launch timeline has been leaked via tweet. The Redmi K30 launch leak suggests this year only in 2019. The leaked tweet by the popular tipster give us a launch timeline for both the Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro.
According to the leak, Redmi K30 will launch in 2019 only. It doesn’t mark out whether it’s the India launch timeline for Redmi K30 series or not.
Redmi K20 series launched in China first, then unveiled globally as remodelled Mi 9T series, and then it came to India.
So if Redmi K30 launches in China by 2019 end, the device will come to India probably a couple of months later. So it’s safe to assume the first quarter timeline for Redmi K30 India launch.
Coming to the Pro model, the Redmi K30 Pro will launch next year in 2020, according to the leak. Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro will launch separately, hence Redmi K30 Pro India launch will happen on a later date, probably in the later part of the first quarter.

Redmi K30 is supposed to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen inside a punch-hole capsule shaped design. It’s going to be a 19.5:9 screen offering a screen resolution up to 2K. Redmi K30 will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display to offer the latest display technology.
Redmi K30 will have a dual selfie setup inside the capsule punch-hole featuring a 36MP primary selfie shooter coupled with a 26MP secondary camera.
At the back, both Redmi K30 and the Redmi K30 Pro will come with a quad-camera system powered by the 64MP shooter. Redmi K30 will come with a 64MP primary camera coupled with a 28MP secondary sensor.
The other two sensors will include a 18MP and an 8MP sensor.
Redmi K30 smartphones will support OIS and EIS with up to 30x digital zoom and ultra wide angle lenses.
Finally coming to the battery, Redmi K30 will have a massive built-in 4,800 mAh battery. A similar sized unit is also expected on Redmi K30 Pro. Both the Redmi K30 devices will support up to 65W fast charge with added chargers in the box.

Redmi K30 smartphones will come with 5G support, but the 5G models may only remain exclusive to China. Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro are going to be the first smartphones under the separated Redmi brand to have 5G support.
Currently the Redmi K20 smartphones in India comes with standard 4G connectivity.
The current leaks suggest a launch before 2019 ends. The Redmi K30 India launch will take some time and is expected in early 2020.
