Redmi X vs Realme X: Who’s Changing The Flagship Game?
The recently teased Redmi Avengers Endgame smartphone has now been leaked in live images confirming a few key details and features. The smartphone has long been teased as Redmi’s first flagship, and we are very close to the launch now.
The smartphone will be up against the pop-up flagship from Realme.
The new live image has confirmed the naming as well. The Redmi Avengers Endgame smartphone will be called as Redmi X, as leaked in the live images.
Redmi X: Glass Design, Triple Rear Cameras & Snapdragon 855
As revealed in the live image, the Redmi X smartphone will come with a pop-up selfie camera on top. It has three cameras at the back donning a glass body on the out. The smartphone has a premium finish on the out, build out of glass.
It’s a gradient finish, and looks very similar to Asus Zenfone 5Z in terms of finish.
On top, Redmi X will come with a pop-up selfie sensor. It’s going to be a notch-less display with very thin bezels on the sides and a slight chin down under below.
The Redmi X glass design has a gradient look on the out. The smartphone will have a glass sandwich design protected by Corning Gorilla glass, most probably series 5.
At the back, Redmi X is seen with a three camera setup. The rear triple camera combo will feature a primary 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor supported by a wide-angle lens and a depth sensor.
The camera combination also may be similar to what Xiaomi uses for Mi 9, the current flagship offering from the company.
Redmi X will run on Snapdragon 855 and MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. The smartphone will come with a 4,000mAh battery and USB Type C supported fast charging.
Realme X vs Redmi X: Who’s Changing The Flagship Game?
The current reigning top budget brands Redmi and Realme will again go against each other, but this time in the entry premium segment. And this won’t be in India like the Realme 3 Pro and Redmi Note 7 Pro.
The war is about to happen in China.
Realme has officially announced its entry in China, and it has a pop-up sensor flagship ready to be launched in China in May.
Similarly, Redmi too is ready to launch its own Avengers Endgame flagship next month, the Redmi X.
The Realme flagship will go against the Redmi X flagship with almost similar features and functions.
The Redmi X retail box confirmed the presence of a pop-up selfie camera on top, similar to what Realme X is said to offer as it’s next. It’s going to be the first Xiaomi phone to come with a pop-up camera, same as Realme.
Realme will also be launching its new flagship phone with almost similar features, tipped to be known as Realme X.
The Realme flagship, Realme X will also come with a pop-up selfie camera. Both Redmi X and Realme X are said to be powered by the current Qualcomm flagship chip, the Snapdragon 855.
Redmi X India Launch: How Much Will Redmi X Cost In India?
Redmi X will launch in a special Avengers Edition alongside a regular model in its home market China. Xiaomi partnered with Marvel back in March to promote Avengers Endgame. Even the leaked retail box of Redmi X has Iron Man as the wallpaper.
Redmi X is being rumoured to be the cheapest Snapdragon 855 phone so far.
So, Redmi X may launch in India as the Poco F2. Xiaomi has always neglected India when it comes to its flagships. So, Redmi X may not at all arrive in India. But it may be remodeled and launched in India as Poco F2. Though, Realme X will come to India soon after the China launch in May.
Coming to the Redmi X price, it is said to be the cheapest Snapdragon 855 phone so far. The pricing should be somewhere around 2,800 to 3,000 Yuan. In India, whether it comes as Redmi X or Poco F2, the pricing should be somewhere around Rs 25,000 or even less for the base model.
